WE ARE STRATEGIC THINKERS
UNLOCKING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES THAT
ARE SOCIALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY
BENEFICIAL.

Economic growth has unleashed technological innovation and raised living standards across the globe. Yet new, distinctively modern environmental challenges have emerged as a result of growing and increasingly affluent populations, such as overfishing, plastic debris, deforestation, and climate change.

Marine Change and Financing Change bring creativity, deep sectoral expertise, and diverse networks to help our clients confront these significant challenges. We generate scalable solutions and investment opportunities for industry, civil society, and policymakers.

Marine Change CREATES innovative business models and financing structures in support of sustainable fisheries and eco-tourism.

Our approach focuses on aligning the vision and incentives of industry, community, and civil society to ensure the sustainability of both incomes and the environment.

FINANCING CHANGE MOBILIZES INVESTMENTS IN CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGIES THAT ADVANCE THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND ADDRESS WATER SCARCITY.

We also create groundbreaking business models to increase incentives for improved waste management and novel financial structures to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

One such example is I Want to Smell the Perfume

They repurpose discarded fishing nets - some of the most damaging debris in the ocean - into eco-friendly shopping bags that are later sold to reduce the high number of single-use plastic bags. This social enterprise provides women with a regular income while working from home, providing access to broader social visibility through different means such as bank accounts and insurances.

Monthly earning per woman = up to 40% of household income

1 bag = 1m2 of used fishing net removed from the ocean
